Permanently Closed.. The Campanello family had its straight-off-the-boat American start in the restaurant's building in 1906. Campanello's received some fame in the 1990s because Reds pitcher Jose Rijo made a habit of eating all his pregame meals at the restaurant, even having it shipped to him during the 1990 World Series. It's a nice cozy atmosphere with lots of personal attention.
