Home For The Holidays is back and we want you to come celebrate with us at The Woodward! This year we have some amazing performances you won't want to miss.
The AfroChine Players with Reilly Comisar (Soul/Funk/Rock'n'Roll) - You might have heard of the Queen City Kings and even seen them at the King Records Blink projection. The core musicians have created this band! New name, same soulful sound.
Malcolm London (HipHop/R&B) - A poet, activist, educator and musician from Chicago. Malcolm's energy and stage presence is contagious from the moment he steps in front of the mic stand. Check out his most recent release including his debut album OPIA:https://malcolmlondon.com/music/
Genesis Renji (HipHop/Rap) - Genesis and his team House Of Renji use larger than life production mixing modern percussion with what feels like old school hiphop samples. We saw Genesis in his hometown of Milwaukee last year and ever since we've dying to show Cincinnati what he's all about. You can get a taste here: https://soundcloud.com/genesisrenji
This Pine Box (Alt Rock) - One of the region's most promising up and coming bands from Dayton, Ohio. They had an incredible ode to 89.7 WNKU at the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards. Here is their recently released single Way Out: https://thispinebox.bandcamp.com
DJ HD - We hope you're ready to dance. HD gets the crowd moving playing your favorite current hits and blending them seamlessly with classics.
The Holidays are for giving back and we want to use this event to make an impact. We get to do that this year with a Sock Drive through Our Daily Bread! Bring a fresh pair or pack of socks and help us make a difference. This event is free and open to the public. 18 and up.
